Governor Rick Scott and Secretary of State Ken Detzner have been pressuring President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security to gain access their SAVE database in order to cross-check the state’s voter rolls. The “voter purge” as it is being popularly called has prompted attorneys from the Department of Justice to request that Florida stop its “purge” of illegal voters.Predictably, the Department of Homeland Security is not so much interested enforcing the laws that are broken by illegal foreign nationals, something that should obviously fall under the jurisdiction of the “Homeland Security” Administration.
