Angela Corey, the special prosecutor appointed by Governor Rick Scott to oversee the Trayvon Martin case was given some kind recognition by Governor Scott at the recent Duval County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner. Governor Scottt acknowledged that Corey has been extremely fair and impartial throughout the case as well as sensitive to feelings and concerns of both parties involved in the unfortunate death of the Miami Gardens teen.
Corey told the Shark Tank that she was going to “vigorously pursue the truth,” and also added that they “don’t succumb to any outside influences” in regards to threats and intimidating actions made by radical groups such as the New Black Panther Party.
