Florida Governor Rick Scott has affectionately called out Texas Governor Rick Perry by telling him that he was going to “kick his rear” in terms of job creation and having best state economic growth in the nation. During Scott’s remarks to the Republican faithful of Jacksonville, Scott talked about a recent phone conversation with Governor Perry in which he “threatened” to give the Texan a swift economic boot in his seat.
As you all know, Governor Perry is no push over. In fact, I got to know Governor Perry in Iowa earlier this year, and I can tell you that he is one tough hombre. Currently, Texas leads the nation in economic growth,with Florida lagging way down in 2nd place 😉 But will these two Governors come to economic blows anytime soon?
Rumor has it that there are negotiations between the two parties and the WWE to put on a “Lucha Libre” grudge bout later this year. We can’t confirm this rumor, but there’s no truth to another rumor that Governor Scott made a $10,000 wager to Governor Perry about who’s state would be number #1 in jobs creation. DOH!
