Former conservative radio show host Trey Radel has announced that he’s raised $300K for his congressional campaign in the first reporting cycle of 2012. Radel is in a contested Republican primary race, and he’s out-raised all of this opponents in the race based on a comparison of their reported Q1 results. Radel says that his fundraising success is due to the fact that he has been in “people’s living rooms and cars for more than a decade, conveying the same consistent, conservative message year after year.”
