The Shark Tank’s recent video of Ann Coulter taking a swipe of sorts at Sarah Palin has attracted the attention of several talking heads as well as many of Palin’s online stalwarts. Conservative talk show host Mark Levin has even taken issue with and refuted Coulter’s remarks about Palin on his radio show. In the video, Coulter asserts that Palin is pushing for a brokered Republican convention and is all but openly campaigning for her candidacy. On MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” Ed Schultz was practically frothing at the mouth as he intro’d the video segment. Interestingly enough, most on the Left are agreeing with Coulter’s her take about the GOP and Sarah Palin- probably the first time that the left is in agreement with Coulter over any issue, as it’s likely that they still view Palin as threat- particularly should she somehow emerge from a brokered convention as the nominee.
While Ann still causes the Left great angst and discomfort with her spot on assessment of the liberal agenda, Palin is still beloved by millions of Americans. While some may say that Coulter is merely jealous of Palin, I don’t think that is the case.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Both Twitter and the blogosphere lit up when the video broke, and the resulting fallout was about 50-50 in terms of support for Coulter and Palin. Quite frankly, it’s unfortunate for these internecine squabbles to break out at this particular time, as we’re going to need both of their efforts to help defeat Obama. Perhaps we will see the two conservative divas ‘kiss and make up’ in the near future?
