Coral Gables, FL- President Barack Obama made a campaign stop yesterday at the Biltmore Hotel that attracted about 450 of his followers who paid $500 each to attend. Obama regurgitated many of his campaign’s talking points and doubled down on his class warfare and redistribution of wealth governing philosophy. Obama also doubled down on what has been his administration’s failed energy policy, and he mocked Republicans for supporting a “bumpersticker” approach to energy policy. Obama also took a subtle swipe at the Republican Presidential nominees by asking the crowd if they have been watching the GOP debates, then rhetorically reminding them, “In case you need incentive.”Here are some of the highlights of the speech, with my thoughts in parenthesis:
Min.1:35– “Yes, we’re rugged individuals. Yes, we don’t expect a hand out.” (Yet Obama has increased the welfare rolls, food stamp recipients, and has stated that we need to redistribute wealth)
