Senator Rick Santorum has swept the latest Republican Presidential contests in Minnesota, Colorado and Missouri. What does this mean? Romney won Colorado 60% to Senator John McCain’s 18% in 2008, making this a troublesome loss for the former Governor of Massachusetts. I voted for Senator Santorum in Florida’s primary election, and I still believe that he’s the most conservative and trustworthy candidate of the bunch.
Gingrich seems to be fading fast, so is it now fair to ask Gingrich to drop out of the race? Gingrich has asked Santorum to quit the race during the South Carolina primary, perhaps Gingrich should do take his own advice? Santorum has now won four contests, Gingrich has only won the South Carolina primary. If the race drags out, it will likely benefit President Barack Obama, as whomever the Republican nominee is will limp into the general election. Or does a protracted primary improve our chances in November?
