Also attending Congressman Connie Mack’s U.S. Senate launch party last week was congressional candidate Trey Radel, who is looking to fill Mack’s shoes in his soon to be vacated seat. Radel has been a fixture in Southwest Florida as a conservative radio show host and as a news anchor for local radio and TV stations. We sat down with Radel to get his take on some hot topics including the controversial illegal immigration issue and the current national economic climate.Radel is taking a strong stance against illegal immigration, stating that he is “undoubtedly supportive of an Arizona immigration law right here in the state of Florida.” Radel’s position on the Arizona immigration law runs contrary to that of Congressman Mack, who in the past has used harsh rhetoric to condemn the law.
Radel also believes that the current unemployment statistics are misleading, and what the Obama administration is doing is “incentivizing poverty and exploiting that fact that so many workers have dropped out of the system, thus boosting the employment numbers.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
