MaverickPAC, a newly formed political action committee co-chaired by George P. Bush is launching their Miami chapter at a holiday fundraising event next week in Miami. Bush, as well as the rest of the MavPAC leadership team will be in attendance at the event planned by MavPAC’s associate Luis Andre Gazitua. The PAC has already recieved RSVP’s from congressional members, state legislators, and candidates for U.S. Senate and Congress. Karen Harrington, who is running for Congress to unseat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has confirmed that she will be in attendance.Below is Maverick PAC’s mission statement and three main objectives from its website:
Maverick PAC is comprised of next-generation Republicans, under the age of 45 who commit their time, talents, and money to promote conservative principles of personal and fiscal responsibility in public service, and they have had an impressive impact in leadership capacities for many local, state, and federal races.
- Establish a national network of conservative, young professionals;
- Provide our members access to the politicians and business leaders shaping the Republican party today;
- Support conservative candidates.

MaverickPAC is currently vetting candidates throughout it’s territories, including Florida, as it hopes to make a significant difference in the 2012 general election, as well as use the upcoming election as a springboard for future elections.
