Below is Maverick PAC’s mission statement and three main objectives from its website:
Maverick PAC is comprised of next-generation Republicans, under the age of 45 who commit their time, talents, and money to promote conservative principles of personal and fiscal responsibility in public service, and they have had an impressive impact in leadership capacities for many local, state, and federal races.
- Establish a national network of conservative, young professionals;
- Provide our members access to the politicians and business leaders shaping the Republican party today;
- Support conservative candidates.
MaverickPAC is currently vetting candidates throughout it’s territories, including Florida, as it hopes to make a significant difference in the 2012 general election, as well as use the upcoming election as a springboard for future elections.
“The purpose of MAVPAC Miami is to raise an impactful amount of funds to ensure the legacy of the organization through future election cycles, shore up the strength of candidate selection efforts, and properly prepare the PAC for the new decade. MAVPAC Miami Members will work to raise funds, develop candidates, build business relationships, and to educate colleagues on pertinent issues in the community through partnership organizations. Funds raised will go towards candidate support, events, and other efforts to promote MAVPAC and the Republican Party.”-George P. Bush“The Miami Region of MAVPAC is a unique to the organization because of its geography and membership. Miami is the secure, established multicultural gateway for doing business throughout the Americas and the Caribbean and Miami’s political establishment consists of conservative Republicans who are predominantly entrepreneurs and business people of Hispanic origin.” –Luis Andre Gazitua
