During her quick trip down to Florida, Republican presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann sat down with for an interview to discuss the current state of her campaign. Bachmann expressed great concern with the growing ‘rift’ between Israel and the Obama Administration, stating that if she were to become president, one of her her first official acts would be to move the American embassy in Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital in Jerusalem. Bachmann did not answer the question as to whether she would support an U.S. aided Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, but did say that ‘all’ options would be on the table in dealing with Iran.“For over 30 years, he (Newt Gingrich) has been the consummate Washington D.C. insider making deals.” – Michele Bachmann
With the recent ‘social’ issues that have plagued Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich’s past social missteps, Bachmann believes that social conservatives will move away from Cain and Gingrich and gravitate towards her campaign. This idea that social conservatives will move her way is not a stretch. Herman Cain is currently “reassessing” his campaign after the recent allegation that he had a 13-year extramarital affair, and Newt Gingrich’s similar issues years back along with his recent statement that life does not begin at conception, but at ” implantation” could stop social conservatives from supporting either of their campaigns.
