The Democrat Party of Florida continues to swim in the sewer rather than in the realm of ideas with the unveiling of its “Rickpublican” website that’s aimed at depicting Republicans as unethical and corrupt subhumans. Or something close to that.Courtesy of their new attack site, we learn the definition of what exactly a “Rickpublican” is:
Proper name for Florida Republicans wrought with greed and corruption who are hell-bent on selling out to the corporations and special interests while leaving Florida’s middle class families out-to-dry.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
In other words, it’s your typical Democrat caricature of a Republican– they’re all greedy, corrupt, and out to get the middle class, since none of them are “middle class”, after all. Â Rinse and repeat the lie ad nauseum- the Democrats’ messaging strategy never changes. Â The site continues:
Over the last 12 years, a one party Republican rule fueled by corruption and greed has been at the helm while the state slid further behind in the critical areas of education, job creation, and our quality of life.
Today, Rick Scott Republicans – Rickpublicans – continue to run amuck in government putting corporate special interests ahead of Florida’s families.
Leveling a blanket charge against “12 years of Republican misrule in Florida” makes for a good chuckle, as it’s clearly an attempt to distract from the actual corruption, greed, and cronyism currently taking place under the Reign of Obama. Â Never mind the fact that Democrats have been hemorraging support since their electoral victories in 2008 primarily because their agenda is toxic- government mandates, regulatory power grabs, extreme fiscal irresponsibility, political money laundering, and crony capitalism- that is the modern Democrat Party. Â All DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the rest of the gang over at the Democrat Party can do is distract from their own failings and corruption- they will never submit to an honest examination of their agenda.
Let’s also not forget the two-faced messaging of Wasserman-Schultz- in one hand, she criticizes Republicans for the state of the economy, and in the other hand, she claims that the economy is recovering and “we own the economy”- “we” of course being the Democrat Party. Â Are Democrats attempting to deflect from the record sustained national unemployment numbers that have been realized under Obama’s tenure but simultaneously take credit for the nearly 100,000 net jobs created by Florida’s economy since January?
On the page named “Six Degrees of Rick Scott”, the DFP directly attacks those Republican congressional and senatorial candidates they believer are either vulnerable or who pose the biggest threat to their reclamation of power in 2012.  Democrat Senator Bill Nelson is vulnerable because of his complete support of the Obama agenda, and the website goes after three of the Republican Senate hopefuls looking to unseat him as well as  Congressmen David Rivera, Vern Buchanan and rising GOP star Allen West.
So yet again we have the Democrat Party hitting the accelerator with their childish attacks while their car is stuck in neutral, hoping that the ”blame Bush’ approach distracts from their lack of ideas and vision. Â This tactic may have worked in 2008, but I guarantee you that it will back-fire on them again next year.
