U.S. Senatorial candidate Adam Hasner has announced that he has raised $560,000+ in the second quarter of the 2011 FEC reporting cycle. Of the$560K raised, 98% is allocated for the Republican primary.

What is interesting to note is that 90% of Hasner’s 2000 contributors have not maxed out their donations, and 85% have given $1000 or less. In comparison to Senator Marco Rubio’s first quarter reporting cycle during his 2010 Senatorial  campaign, Hasner outraised Rubio’s 1Q results, and Hasner has more cash on hand than Rubio did at the same time.

Many including myself predicted that Hasner would report in the $300-400k range this reporting cycle, but were wrong. Hasner’s haul is great news for his supporters who were at least hoping for a respectable showing, and it comes on the heels of the $900k that his Republican rival Mike Haridopolos has reported.
