U.S. Senate candidate Mike Haridopolos raised an astounding $2.6 million in the first quarter of 2011 and has also announced that he will be reporting an additional $900,000 for the 2011 second quarter reporting cycle, a total which is less than what was expected. Many consider Haridopolos the front runner in the Republican Senate primary race, and if he continues to post these types of fundraising numbers, that assertion will certainly have greater credibility.
Senator George LeMieux is expected to bring in about $1 million for quarter two, a more realistic number would range somewhere between $700-$950,000. While Adam Hasner is considered by many to be the ‘Tea Party’ favorite, a realistic reporting number for him would range somewhere between $300-380,000 in what is his first reporting cycle as a candidate.
