U.S. Senate candidate Adam Hasner continued on offense against former U.S. Senator and Senate primary opponent George LeMieux with the release of his latest campaign video that identifies LeMieux as a ‘Charlie Crist Republican’ who once stated that the Obama stimulus was “helpful to Florida”. There is no love lost between the Hasner and LeMeiux, as they were on opposite sides throughout most of the highly contested 2010 U.S. Senatorial primary between now U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida Governor Charlie Crist.
LeMieux was one of Charlie Crist’s closest confidants and advisors, whereas Hasner was known as a thorn in Charlie’s side while serving as House Majority Leader, and Hasner has been a close friend and ally of Rubio since their days serving together in the Florida Legislature.

Hasner and LeMieux are entangled in a very competitive 2012 Republican primary along with Mike McCallister and Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos.
