Conservative author and possible Ohio U.S. Senate Candidate Ken Blackwell has endorsed former House Majority Leader Adam Hasner in Florida’s 2012 U.S. Senate Republican primary race. After concluding his speech at last weekend’s Faith & Freedom Conference in Washington, D.C., Blackwell announced his support for Hasner, remarking that Hasner is a “stand up guy, that has a measurable track record of conservatism.” Blackwell is presently considering a run for the U.S. Senate in Ohio and considered by many as one of the most influential conservative voices in the country. Hasner’s primary opponents include former U.S. Senator George LeMieux, Mike McCallister and current Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos.
