One of the invited speakers at this weekend’s Faith & Freedom Conference in Washington, D.C. was former candidate turned ‘maybe’ candidate Donald Trump. Trump announced last month that he would not run for President in 2012, but he has recently walked his earlier statements back and indicated that he would not completely rule an independent bid for the White House- a Trump independent run would be predicated on how good or bad the GOP front runner is doing in the polls come this time next year.
Trump recalled his experience at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner and noted that “nobody is protected like Barack Hussein Obama”, referring of course the mainstream media’s knee-jerk tendency to treat their guy with kid gloves and run interference for him when the sledding gets a bit bumpy.
