The Senate Republican Caucus was invited by President Barack Obama to the White House, an opportunity for the Caucus to bring their pressing concerns and issues to the President’s attention. Senator Minority leader McConnell selected freshman Florida Senator Marco Rubio as one of a select few Senators that were to directly address the President during meeting. Prior to the meeting, I sat down with Senator Rubio in his office to discuss his forthcoming meeting with the President.
