Republican Congressional candidate Jim Gleason has decided not to run in against fellow Republican Karen Harrington Florida’s Congressional District 20 primary. Gleason said that he would not get in the way of Karen’s bid to face-off again with Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz(D-FL), and would seek another race to run in. Gleason also added that he understood Harrington has been able to amass a large grassroots following and name recognition within the district and around the country- a factor that which ultimately led to his decision not to run against her. This decision comes in the wake of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’ selection to become the Chair the Democrat National Committee.
