Hialeah Mayor Julio Robaina held a press availability at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doral on Friday to update the press on the status of his campaign for the Mayor of Miami-Dade County and to dispel any negative assumptions and accusations of him that have come to light over that past several weeks in regards to his candidacy. Mayor Robaina has been accused of failing to pay taxes on property owns and having close ties to supporters and donors who could possibly be involved in illegal gaming in South Florida. Mayor Robaina took the time to sit down with me and answered all of my questions regarding these issues as well as others.
I asked Mayor Robaina to tell me what ideas or programs he implemented in the city of Hialeah that provided a crossover benefit to Miami-Dade as a whole.

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
I also asked Robaina how he feels about cutting Property taxes throughout the county. Robaina indicated that he has made a pledge to not only cut property taxes, but to reverse the property taxes that were imposed on the residents of Miami-Dade county in 2010. He then answered questions about his past, specifically about the charges relating to check forgery in the early 90’s, and also about the illegal gambling and tax issues that have cast somewhat of a shadow on his campaign.
