And so it begins. The Democrat machine is already working in overdrive to lay the groundwork for election year 2012, although it may want to reconsider some of the tactics in their playbook.  Orlando Sentinel reporter Scott Powers was recently detained and or hidden in the closet at a recent Joe Biden/Bill Nelson fundraiser in hopes of keeping him from rubbing shoulders and asking questions of the ‘high-roller’ attendees at the event, according to Newsbusters.

“A “low-level staffer” put Powers in a storage closet and then stood guard outside the door, Powers told the DRUDGE REPORT. “When I’d stick my head out, they’d say, ‘Not yet. We’ll let you know when you can come out.”

Just what were they thinking when they decided to lock up a reporter in the closet- did they not think this reporter somehow forget to report on it?   What else could Senator Nelson be hiding in the closet? Expect more squashing of free speech and other shenanigans in the coming months from a Democrat Party that is looking  more and more desperate, as their short-lived power-grab may come crashing end in November 2012.
