The ‘Awake the State’ campaign organized throughout the state of Florida to protest Governor Rick Scott proposed budget on the first day of the Legislative got underway in Tallahassee with about 400 event attendees. Armed with signs , activists made no bones about their opposition to the Governor’s budget, and the Republican controlled legislature”s stance on wholeheartdly support the Governor.
