With the opening of the Florida Legislative session this week, the Florida Federated Republican Women’s club held a statewide meeting coinciding with the Legislative Session. Several speakers addressed the group including RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day, Governor Rick Scott, and Senate President Mike Haridpolos. But the highlight of the event was the cameo appearance by Senator Marco Rubio. Rubio wowed the crowd with his trademark bubble gum smile and ‘stirdy’ demeanor, as the Republican woman scurried to take a photo with the Senator.
I, El Sharko was also taken by the moment and could not resist the temptation to pose with the Senator as well. Rubio was all smiles and didn’t flinch about taking so many pictures at the event.
