Miami Herald’s Caputo Becomes a South Florida ‘Capo’
by Javier Manjarres
Congratulations are in order for fellow media politico Marc Caputo of the Miami Herald’s Tallahassee Bureau, who has moved up in the world and taken a job as the Miami Herald’s Political Writer. Caputo replaces Beth Reinhard, who was recently relocated up to Washington D.C. to work as the National Journal’s Chief Political Correspondent, a position she possibly accepted in order to stay withing shouting distance of her friend and political nemesis, Senator-elect Marco Rubio- just as he thought he was free of her ;).
Caputo will be relocating down to sunny South Florida where he will be backstroking his way into Shark infested media waters. The infamous ‘Caputo Cam’ will now have to jockey for ‘gaggle position’ with the world renowned ‘Shark Cam’. Caputo’s presence will surely compliment the Shark Tank’s ‘wrecking crew’ approach to the South Florida political scene. Just a little word of advice to Caputo– do not try to cross ‘fins’ with the Shark Tank, as El Sharko does not swim on that side of the channel 😉
