After Rick Scott and Jennifer Carroll toured the North Lauderdale Academy of Excellence facility, the two held a townhall style meeting with a couple hundred of the school kids before addressing the media as to the specifics of their Education plan for Florida. Scott addressed the controversial SB6 bill supported by Republicans, and vetoed by Governor Charlie Crist. Carroll opined that not enough taxpayer dollars are going to teachers in the public schools, but to administrative costs instead.
