Republican State Representative Jennifer Carroll made her splash on to the national political scene when Florida Gubernatorial nominee Rick Scott picked Carroll as his running mate for this November’s Gubernatorial general election showdown with Florida CFO Alex Sink and her pick, Rod Smith. Carroll had supported McCollum in the primary, but is now on the ticket with Scott and has been traveling around on “RickForce1” across the state. Carroll, to her credit, has wasted no time in positioning her cross-hairs on Sink for her support of the Obama Socialist agenda.
Representative Carroll jumped into the tank at the GOP quarterly meeting in Orlando to discuss Sink and talk a little Dolphin football. Carroll’s son is a newly signed defensive back for the Miami Dolphins, and we talked about her support for the team as well as U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio’s unhealthy obsession with the Dolphins. Rubio’s obsession with the lowly Dolphins is a concern of mine this election season, due to the fact he might not be able to resist the temptation to apply orange and aqua body paint to show his support for the Fins- a move that would surely qualify as the 2010 Jump the Shark moment. Marco can you say J E T S, JETS! JETS! JETS!?
