One of the issues that federal candidates are tackling this election cycle are term limits for elected officials. Currently, term limits exist for the President of the United States of America is 2 four year terms- thank you, FDR. Currently, there are no term limits in Congress. Given the fact that many Congressmen and Senators have served long past their usefulness, term limits are desperately needed to keep politicos from losing sight of why they were elected for to begin with.
