RPOF ChairmanThrasher Thrashes Crist- “He Showed Betrayal”
The monthly meeting of the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches held in West Palm Beach featured Florida State Senator and Republican Party of Florida Chairman John Thrasher as its guest speaker. Chairman Thrasher spoke about how the RPOF is bouncing back after facing public embarrassment and scrutiny when recently ousted ex- Party Boss, Jim Greer ran the party into the ground-all under the watch of Governor Crist’s administration. Governor Crist handpicked Greer for the position and had defended his longtime friend throughout the past year as several scandals that had been plaguing the party were brought to light. Thrasher also spoke about how the GOP will be identifying both State and Congressional candidates to support in November’s election, and he also promoted U.S. Senatorial candidate Marco Rubio. The day would not have been complete without Thrasher taking some anticipated and well-deserving swipes at the former Republican-now Democrat/Independent Governor Charlie Crist.
Rick Santorum Speaks at the Boca Raton Republican Club
Later that evening, Former Senator Rick Santorum addresses over 350 attendees at the Boca Raton Republican Club’s dinner and took another well-deserved jab at Crist while also praising Marco Rubio, whom he recently endorsed. Senator Santorum is considered one of the heavies within Conservative circles, and is often seen on Fox News as one of their go-to guest conservative pundits. Could we see Santorum take on ‘the Messiah’ in 2012?
