Super Grover- Open Sesame Street to Illegals
Great times were had last week at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), but none were more fun than a panel discussion I sat in on regarding Hispanic outreach. The organization sponsoring the Hispanic outreach session was American Principles Project.
The purpose of the session was to bring awareness to the fact that Hispanics are the largest and fastest growing demographic in the United States, and also to express the fact that Hispanics are here to stay. The real agenda was to promote amnesty for illegal immigrants that are in our country, say it with me now, ‘illegally’.The panel consisted of Mexican Actress Karyme Lozano, Alfonso Aguilar, Mario Lopez(no, not the actor), and Grover Norquist. When I found out that Norquist was on the panel, a little alarm went off in my head about this session named ‘The Rise of Latino Conservatism’.
Mr. Norquist is a leading authority on tax issues. He is also known for wearing several different political hats. Aside from being a tax guru, Norquist is a big advocate for granting amnesty for illegals, and he is on the record for doing so.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
“We now have a Democratic president, an overwhelmingly Democratic Senate, an overwhelmingly Democratic House, and they’ve done nothing in the last year,” he said. “It was Republicans like [President] Reagan, that began, and Bush, which we said, that started to get a handle on coming up with a reasonable immigration policy that benefits the country.”-Grover Norquist (NEWSMAX)
But the fun doesn’t end there. ‘Super’ Grover Norquist started the Islamic Free Market Institute (a.k.a Islamic Institute) in 1998,where his wife,
Kuwaiti born Samaah Alrayyes Norquist directed the institute-The whole purpose of the institute was to bring Muslims into the Republican Party. One of Norquist’s past clients was Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is a convicted Terrorist now doing a long stint in prison for financing Terrorism.
Unfortunately, some associated with the Islamic Institute evidently had another agenda. Abdurahman Alamoudi, for one, a self-described “supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah,” the prime-mover behind the American Muslim Council (AMC) and a number of other U.S.-based Islamist-sympathizing/supporting organizations, saw in the Islamic Institute a golden opportunity to hedge his bets.- Jihad WatchBut this is all in the past, let’s talk about the future and the vision that this panel has for reaching out to ‘Latinos’.
Their goal is simple- to grant amnesty. There were about 8 or so in my group that decided to attend this ‘pro-hispanic’ meeting, all of us were Hispanic with exception of two. It really was entertaining to see the panel spin their pro-amnesty rhetoric in a way to try to soften the blow. Nice try, but everyone in the room sniffed out your true agenda. No matter how carefully they worded their talking points, they could not avoid bringing up how to help the illegal aliens, already here, ultimately gain amnesty. This was truly embarrassing. One of my friends and fellow writing cohort , Angelette Aviles, was in attendance and decided to give her take on the meeting.
Hispanics at CPAC: It’s more than Immigration
The best was yet to come. The panel took questions at the end, so as your ever lovable, charismatic, and Hispanic to boot (see pic if you don’t believe me) correspondent, I decided that I needed to represent my adoring fans and ask a question or two. But before I could ask my question,
Alfonso Aguilar reiterated the position points of his organization. His rant almost made my head explode-there were many questions I wanted to ask! Let me just say that Mr. Lopez and Mr. Aguilar both mentioned that Conservatives need to lead by example- that Conservatives needed to take this issue by the horns, so to speak.
What the panel didn’t seem to understand is that these illegal immigrants are fleeing repressive and lawless countries to find happiness and order in our country. So I told them that this issue was not about being Conservative, Liberal, Republican or Democrat, it was about the rule of law in the United States. If you come here illegally, you need to get deported. Even after I gave them the analogy that if I would enter the country of France illegally, French officials would have me deported. I didn’t hear them crying foul anytime an American gets deported from another country for entering any other country illegally or overstaying their visa.
So I asked, ”Does your organizations’ vision of Latino-Hispanic outreach include amnesty for illegal immigrants?” Aguilar forcefully answered ,”NO!” After giving him my two cents, Aguilar then went on a long winded filibuster. After that, “Super” Grover Norquist came to Aguilar’s rescue, and then the panel abruptly stopped taking anymore questions and ended the meeting. In closing, let’s get something straight- the law is the law. If you want to come to the United States of America, then get in line and wait with the rest of the law-abiding people.
