Linda Shulman, who booked a charter flight with Talon Air, Inc. to fly down to Florida from New York after he son Scott Beigel was shot and killed during the school shooting in Parkland, has asked the charter airline for some compassion over the $18,229.56 invoice they billed her for flying back from the funeral.
She got it.
Talon Air said that they would reimburse the money and donate $18,000 to the Scott J. Beigel Memorial Fund
“You have endured the greatest tragedy that no parent should have to confront…No parent should have to go through what you and so many other parents have endured. My heart goes out to each and every one who has suffered so much pain, anguish, and loss by virtue of this senseless act of violence. … I apologize for how poorly Talon initially handled this tragic matter.”–Adam Katz, Talon Air founder
Meanwhile, the shooter Nikolas Cruz still sits locked up awaiting his trial, and Democrats still refuse to cast blame on those responsible for the shooting.
Responsible parties: Broward Sheriff’s Office, Broward County School Board, and Nikolas Cruz.
