Republican gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Ron DeSantis has his cowboy boots on and sitting high a top his high horse after receiving the coveted Sean Hannity endorsement. The endorsement occurred during an interview with Hannity on his radio show
“I’ve known you all these years,” said Hannity. “I can not more enthusiastically endorse and completely support your run, and I really think the people of Florida will be blessed because I know what a strong leader you are.”
“That means a lot to me,” said DeSantis during the interview. “We’ve got a good opportunity to build on the success that Governor Scott has had. I think this tax bill is going to give us a tremendous, competitive advantage in Florida to create a lot of jobs. We have an opportunity to fix our activist courts and live under the rule of law.”-DeSantis press release
Hannity joins fellow conservative radio show host Mark Levin in endorsing DeSantis. DeSantis is currently in a primary race with Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam. Florida Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran is expected to jump into the race shortly after the 2018 legislative session concludes in early March.
