It’s only been a week since he first jumped into the Republican gubernatorial primary election in Florida, and Rep. Ron DeSantis has already scored one of the most sought after endorsement in Conservative politics, the nod of approval from radio show host Mark Levin.
“I’ve gotten to know Ron DeSantis,” said Mark Levin. “He’s a very decent man, a very principled man, a family man with a beautiful family, trying to do the right thing. He’s a very atypical politician.”“Florida’s future is important for the people who are there and the people who may move there, but it’s also important nationally,” said DeSantis during the interview. “We want to have big states that can implement limited government policies and show successes… and I’m committed to making sure we remain a state rooted in conservative reform.” –DeSantis press release
DeSantis has been touting his Trump endorsement (sort of) tweet and appears to be pushing to garner the influential Trump grassroots movement, as well as the conservative faction of the Republican Party.

Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran, who is expected to announce his bid for the governorship in the coming months, will also be courting the very same base of support that DeSantis is shooting for.
Oh, let’s not forget that Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam has raised a boat load of cash for his governor’s race and is considered to be the current frontrunner in the GOP sweepstakes for the top job in Florida.
