Just hours after the Las Vegas mass murder ended, Democratic members of Congress were quickly pushing for tougher gun control measures.
From Hillary Clinton, Rep. Ted Deutch, and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the politicization of the tragedy was in full swing.
Democrats, for as long as anyone can remember, have been using shooting incidents to call for more gun restricting legislation.
Restricting guns to the extend Wasserman Schultz and others are calling for will never happen.

This not about Republicans or event the NRA, who is blamed for all the so-called gun violence that occurs.
Look back at the Obama years when Democrats controlled the entire US government. Why didn’t Democrats press and instill restrictive gun rights legalization then?
They refused to.
Again, when Democrats controlled the chambers of Congress and the White House, nothing was done. In 2012, (7) Democratic US Senators opposed restrictive gun rights legislation. Read more here
President Obama penned some executive orders after the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting in Connecticut, but those orders were merely written to pay service to the anti-gun lobby.
It’s not their fault, its the NRA’s, remember?
Democrats say that the NRA has too much influence on Republican leglislators, but fail to say that the same supposed influence is used as leverage for Democratic legislators.
The NRA and pro-gun organizations are made up of Americans from all walks of life and political leanings.
Yes, there are registered Democrats who are also members of the NRA. Believe it. Accept it. Embrace it.
