The Florida Democratic Party request to have the September 26 special election in Senate District 40 postponed due to Hurricane Irma, was summarily smack downed by Gov. Rick Scott.
Democrats wanted to push back the early voting two weeks to give voters in that district time to recuperate from the storm.Unfortunately for them, the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Christina White has confirmed that “all three early voting sites” had power and are operational.
Former state Rep.. Jose Felix Diaz (R) is expected to defeat Democrat Annette Taddeo in this race.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Democrats may thing that pushing back the election a couple of weeks could help Taddeo’s chances of winning.
