Remember the old Democratic Party talking point that “its Bush’s fault?” Well the days of “W” are long gone, and now Democrats have a new Republican face to hang their blame game on: President Donald Trump.
Montana’s special congressional election between Republican Greg Gianforte and Democrat Rob Quist came and went with Gianforte raising his arm in victory after all the votes here counted.
But election night wasn’t without drama, as Gianforte allegedly assaulted a Guardian newspaper reporter in the presence of a Fox News Channel crew.
Reporter Alicia Acuna posted on Fox that she and two crew members witnessed the assault.
Police cited Gianforte for misdemeanor assault.
Scanlon later issued a statement saying that Jacobs “entered the [campaign] office without permission, aggressively shoved a recorder in Greg’s face, and began asking badgering questions.” –Fox News
Team Gianforte released a statement regarding the alleged incident and assault:
After asking Jacobs to lower the recorder, Jacobs declined. Greg then attempted to grab the phone that was pushed in his face. Jacobs grabbed Greg’s wrist, and spun away from Greg, pushing them both to the ground. It’s unfortunate that this aggressive behavior from a liberal journalist created this scene at our campaign volunteer BBQ.”
Now the media (mainly the mainstream liberal media and its pundits) are trying to blame this incident of President Trump.
