Former Congresswoman Corrine Brown’s 22-count fraud case just got a bit complicated for the 24-year veteran of the US Congress.
Brown’s former chief of staff, Ronnie Simmons, reached a plea agreement with the prosecution, agreeing to plea guilty to two of the 19 charges filed against him. There is a very good possibility that Simmons, who has agreed to cooperate if needed, will be called to testify against Brown of her alleged involvement in the One Door for Education scam that landed both individuals in the mess to begin with.
One Door’s former president, Carla Wiley, has already plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Wiley has been working with prosecutors against Brown.
From the looks of it, this case will not end well for Brown. There are two many legal cards stacked against her.
