Most Americans would agree that releasing hardened Islamic terrorists from the prison on Guantanamo Bay, who have killed or vowed to kill Americans, is not in the best interest of the United States of America.
President Obama has vowed to release more detainees form the military prison, even though quite a few of these former detained terrorist have rejoined their jihad against American and the free world. Most Democrats have supported the president’s mission to close GITMO, especially Rep. Patrick Murphy, who is currently running for the U.S. Senate in Florida against Senator Marco Rubio.
Today Patrick Murphy voted to fund release of terrorists at Guantánamo Bay,despite clear evidence they are rejoining militant groups

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
This is not the first time Murphy voted in favor of Obama’s plan to close the military prison and release the terrorists.
According to Rubio’s campaign:-On June 16, 2016, Murphy voted against Lamborn amendment to H.R. 5293, the FY 2017 Department of Defense Appropriations Bill, which would prohibit using funds to survey, assess, or review an alternative site to Guantanamo Bay in the United States.
-In 2015, Murphy voted for the first Nadler amendment to H.R. 2685, which would allow funds for constructing a facility in the United States to house Guantanamo Bay detainees.
-In 2015, Murphy voted for the second Nadler amendment to H.R. 2685, which would allow funds for the transfer of detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
Rubio is currently beating Murphy in all of the latest public opinion polls, but not margins that would afford Rubio to breathe a little bit easier.
This Senate race could boil down to foreign policy, and tip the scales in the U.S. Senate.
