During last week’s monthly Forum Club of the Palm Beaches held in West Palm Beach, Senator Marco Rubio was the keynote speaker for the groups closing luncheon of the season.
After he spoke to roughly 600 attendees, Rubio held a press conference with reporters where he fielded all kinds of questions, especially ones about his future after the U.S. Senate.Rubio seemed a bit agitated when asked about whether he would reconsider and run for re-election to his safe Senate seat.
Rubio reiterated that he is not running for the re-election to his seat, stating instead that his “good friend” Carlos Lopez-Cantera, who is currently a Senate candidate, would make a great Senator.

I mean, I like public service and if there is an opportunity to serve in some compacity in the future, I can very well examine it.
Rubio continued:
I don’t know what my life will look like in 2 or 3 years. I don’t have plans underway other than finish strong in the Senate.
