Presidential candidate and Senator Ted Cruz appeared on “CBS This Morning” on Tuesday, where he talked about the health care disaster that is better known as Obamacare.
Cruz was asked if he would take away Obamacare health coverage from 16 million Americans who are currently receiving this government-subsidized health care coverage.“For one thing, the bulk of those numbers are coming from expanded Medicaid. And Medicaid is a program where a lot of people who are on Medicaid are not getting health care. Medicaid is a system that is already overburdened and more and more people are just getting waiting lists and not actually getting health care… Beyond that, remember six million people had their health insurance canceled because of Obamacare. You are not doing someone a favor is you cancel the health insurance they like, and then force them to buy new health insurance at higher premiums that covers less.”–Sen. Ted Cruz
Charles Krauthammer recently said that Cruz will have find it difficult to win the Republican presidential nomination because he feels that Cruz does not have a record in the U.S. Senate to pivot off.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
To be fair, Cruz, as well as many other Republican senators, including Senator Marco Rubio, have been stifled by the former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D), who has shelved all of the legislation coming over from the House that was thought to undermined President Obama’s agenda.
Don’t forget, Reid was the one who set the agenda as to what was, or wasn’t voted on.
