Before I was kicked out of the Florida Democrat Party’s “unity rally” in Fort Lauderdale, I spoke to Broward County, Florida, Democrat Party Chairman Mitch Caeser about Crist’s chances to defeat Governor Rick Scott.
Caesar says that he doesn’t believe that their will be “any problems with anyone joining forces” to support Crist, adding that he thinks all Democrats will come out in large numbers to support their gubernatorial nominee.Caesar also said that Crist has the “ability to attract votes from the other side,” while Scott does not, and will actually loose Republican voters.
“He is going to have more bleeding of Republicans voters than any Republican nominee in Florida’s history.”-Mitch Caesar, Broward Democrat Party Chairman
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Democrat state Representative Katie Edwards, who was a staunch Nan Rich supporter, also believes that Democrats will get behind Crist.
I then caught up with Republican Party of Florida Chairwoman Leslie Dougher, who showed up at the rally to offer her rebuttal and smack down of Republican-turned-Independent-turned Democrat, Charlie Crist
“Why are the Democrats uniting behind a failed governor, who has lost 832,000 jobs,” quipped Dougher, adding that $1.9 billion dollars in education funding were lost during Crist’s watch as governor.Dougher also said that Democrat support for Crist is “almost like a pity vote” and that Crist “put the entire state of Florida into a downspin when he was governor.”
