It seems as if foreign Islamist fighters and rogue terror sponsoring states like Iran are not the only threats that Americans need to be cognizant of. This past weekend along the Arizona-Mexico border, a Mexican military helicopter crossed over and shot at two U.S. Border Patrol agents on U.S. soil.
No one was hurt, and the Mexican government quickly apologized and dismissed the incident as some kind of mistake,
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
My amiga and Townhall contributor, Katie Pavlich, took issue with the incident and said that President Obama should use it to his advantage and demand that Mexico release jailed U.S. Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi.
These border excursions by the Mexican military are becoming the norm, as more and more of these border crossings are being reported, including the incident where a whole platoon of Mexican soldiers were detained and then released in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
These crossing are not coincidental, nor are they simple mistakes made my ‘lost’ soldiers. In my opinion, these encounters between Mexican soldiers and U.S. Border Patrol agents are in conjunction with the activities of drug cartels, who have infiltrated and bought a good portion of the Mexican military.
In other words, the Mexican military is running cover for the Mexican drug cartels.
