2012’s Most Polarizing Liberal Politico Was…

By Javier Manjarres

pelosi-wasserman“The most important election of our lifetime” has just come to pass, and Americans continue to believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction. This being said, Americans re-elected President Obama along with all of his job killing and tax raising agendas.

But besides President Obama, who is consider many Conservatives as the embodiment of an “evil-doer,” who is the top polarizing politico that helped shape the 2012 political landscape?

While Senator Harry Reid is a top contender, due in part because of his recent ‘Fiscal Cliff’ rants accusing Republicans of  ‘not caring about Americans’ for opposing the President, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi managed to effectively get under every Republicans  skin with her consistently outrageous and out-of-line rhetoric, like when she stated that Republicans were part of the “Ecoli club.”

While Pelosi, Reid, Senator-elect Warren, and many other liberal Democrats gave us a chuckle or two with their egregiously misleading rhetoric, Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is my choice for the top mover and shaker of politics for 2012.

Take into consideration that every time you turned on the TV, you saw Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz looking right at you, trying to convince you that President Obama’s agenda was right for the country, forcing many of you to turn the TV off or change the channel. Right? Like her colleagues Reid and Pelosi, Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz gave us all more than our fair share of priceless moments and comments, like the time she got into it with a police offer during early voting. (DWS in Police Altercation)

Because I live about 15 miles from Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz, I have had the distinct opportunity to get to somewhat know the congresswoman over the past several years. Even though we agree on just about nothing politically, and have had our little ‘spats’ in the press, I congratulated her on her 2012 success during a recent bipartisan ‘Rally for Israel’ in Miami, Florida, regardless of the fact that I believe she is outright wrong on just about everything and was  even caught lying on national TV.

With Wasserman Schultz, what you see is what you get-hands down the most liberal and polarizing member of Congress, and possibly the entire nation. The ‘DWS’ you see on TV is the same ‘DWS’ you will get in person. No kidding! While I have received a lot criticism from folks on the ‘right’ side of the political world for giving ‘DWS’ credit and defending her against sexist attacks by fringe elements, you have to take you hat off to her for being one of the most unapologetic liberals in politics today.

Debbie is ‘no’ Charlie Crist. Like I said, what you see is what you get.

So who do you think ‘DWS’ the second most polarizing politico in the nation, or is it Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren or others?
