Rick Santorum Sides With Allen West, Supports Preemptive Strike on Iran

By Javier Manjarres

Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum made a quick stop in Palm Beach to talk to Republican activists at a picnic hosted by the Palm Beach County Republican Party. Santorum stressed the importance of adhering to conservative principles and not forgetting the important social issues-issues have taken a back seat to the  economic and national security issues in the GOP Presidential primary race. Considered my many Republicans  to be the ‘dark horse’ in the field of Republican candidates, Santorum has been gaining support among conservatives that have lost interest in both Herman Cain and Rick Perry and are looking for alternatives.

While serving in the U.S. Senate, Santorum was considered a ‘hawk’ on the threat of Islamic Fundamentalism and was one of the strongest supporters of our staunchest ally in the Middle East, Israel.  Santorum’s support of a pre-emptive strike on Iran by Israel echoes that of Congressman Allen West.  Santorum reiterated that Iran has sworn to defeat both ‘The Great Satan’ (U.S.) and the ‘Little Satan’ (Israel), as well as threatened to wipe Israel of the map.

If we are in a position where Iran is close to getting a nuclear weapon, then action needs to be taken. It simply can’t be ignored

I would be working with Israel in making sure…I would have been working a lot harder, and  a lot more vigilantly to replace the government in Iran, and doing things to disrupt the process of getting this nuclear weapon produced.

Anything to get noticed, huh Rick?

Rick has never truly had a chance in this race. Yet I agree with much he has to say. I agree with Rick and Congressman Allen West. I would love to see either or both in a Republican cabinet in 2013.

Santorum is an opportunist and is playing politics by attempting to hitch his wagon to the West Star. Here is the truth about this two-faced self-serving con artist, Santorum:

Santorum sold out the Republicans with two major conspiratorial, calculated, self-serving decisions. In 1997, he campaigned for and endorsed Christie Todd Whitman in a Republican Primary against Murray Sabrin. This was her reelection Primary after proving to be the most radical pro-abortion Governor in the history of our Nation. Murray Sabrin was backed by all the conservatives, anti-abortion, and social conservatives and Santorum sold out his principles to support Whitman. Maxine Waters could not have appointed a worse state Supreme Court than Whitman did. Yet, when she was running for reelection, Santorum carried her on his shoulders.

Then in 2004, when the early equivalent of the Tea Party drafted Pat Toomey to rid the Senate of a worthless Republican whose moral compass was screwed up, Rick Santorum endorsed and campaigned for Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey. The People of New Jersey could not fire Santorum for the Whitman endorsement but the good people of Pennsylvania fired Santorum for the Specter sellout.

Now this devious, two-faced, self-serving, snake wants to be President? Let him run as a Democrat, he fits there. If he gets the nomination we will be voting on which color Democrat to put in the White House.
