Herman Cain, In the Shark Tank (Video)

by Javier Manjarres

Presidential hopeful Herman Cain took a few minutes to sit down with the Shark Tank to talk about his controversial position on the infamous TARP bail-out of big business and also why he feels that Americans should trust him, a man with absolutely no political experience except for a failed attempt at the U.S. Senate several years back. Cain also discussed his recent comment that he would not appoint a Muslim to his cabinet were he to become the next Commander-in-Chief of the United States.

“I don’t know one Muslim who will denounce Sharia Law, and then say they can support the Constitution of the United States of America.” -Herman Cain

Cain also believes that Donald Trump is on point in calling for President Obama ro furnish his birth certificate and end all speculation as to whether he is a U.S. Citizen or not.

During his address to a room of about 100 supporters, Cain said that there are several benchmarks for him to meet that would determine whether or not he would seek the Republican nomination for President, and that an announcement is only a few weeks away. I am going to call my local bookie Mario and bet that Cain announces he will run for President. Asked about whether he can bring the black vote into the Republican voting fold, Cain said that he believes that 1/3 of the black vote is an attainable goal.

Although I would like to support a non-politician for 2012 and I have been very impressed by this man’s experience and success, his five point plan in this interview leaves me speechless.

Just to address one point – re: payroll tax holiday. First, entitlements are driving up our nat’l debt faster than any other item. He wants to take contributions away from two of the biggest entitlements that are already significantly unfunded without stating anything about reducing benefits, etc. How does that reduce debt? How does that add up?

FICA contributions are not a “tax” per se. We have a govt sponsored insurance plan for old age income and health benefits. We run it like a Ponzi scheme. Either fix it or eliminate it. Mr. Cain – what private corporation is able to run a pension plan like Social security? How fast would ERISA shut it down if you were to try it at your corporation?

    C’mon Herman, FAIR TAX!!

Mr. Cain, you are providing clarity and substance with your statements. I do not expect a complete campaign rollout in a 5:38 min edited interview.
Keep communicating and explaining your political solutions to those who remain politically engage. Your certainty is very compelling. Also, continue to stay connected with the voters.

Cain would prove a powerful candidate, a counter to those who blather about race, however, like Adam West, he has very little name recognition outside his home area. I had not heard from him until a week or so ago. The task of building his name so that it is almost a household name is time consuming, and very costly. He would have a much better chance of running for Senator or Congress and building his name recognition.
The same applies to a number of other people that are talking about throwing their hat in the ring. Too many cooks spoil the broth! I am worried that so many, who have almost no chance of getting the nod, will snipe away at each other, water down the vote and give another 4 years to Obama.

This is a LEGAL issue. Islam specifies treating gays & women & others contrary to US Constitution and US law. Curious how the left misses or chooses to ignore this.(At their peril, methinks) Islam also allows Muslims to lie to Infidels. (That’s me and maybe you too.) So much for oaths required of all gov’t workers to uphold US Constitution and laws. This crap has no place anywhere near our US gov’t or our US courts. If you think I’m nuts, read some World History, if you can still read. Case closed.

“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” (1 Timothy 2:11-12)

That sounds rather contrary to US law – by your reasoning, the Bible should not be used to swear oaths either.

If he has nothing to hide, why is he spending millions of dollars to hide his education records and birth records? Elena Kegan is listed as his attorney on these lawsuits to keep his records secret. She isn’t qualified for supreme court, but he appoints her anyway? I could go on and on, but he could shut us all up if he just showed us his long form birth certificate. Why won’t he and why did the governor of Hawaii say they couldn’t find it? Why did his thesis disappear off of the shelves of Columbia’s library? So many unanswered questions and he won’t be straight with us. If not over something so trivial, if you think it is trivial, what else is he keeping from us?

What we must not have is sharia law supplanting US law. We are one nation, not two nations. They call Cain a bigot, but they treat women as no more than slaves. They want their Muslim followers under sharia law to maintain total control over them. Please read my chapter on Religion in America on my book, “Have We Lost Our Minds?”. I am planning to run for US Senate in Florida for 2012. Go to mhy websites at or
