Kudos to Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp (ND) for standing up and denouncing Hillary Clinton’s “civility” remark against Republicans, calling the remark by the former First Lady and presidential nominee “ridiculous.”
Heitkamp, who is all-but assured to lose her seat in the senate next month, is trailing her Republican challenger by up to 12 points in the latest public opinion poll.

Here is what Hillary Clinton said:
“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton said, adding, “that’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”- Clinton to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday.
Here is Heitkamp:
“That’s ridiculous…I mean, I can’t imagine how you get anything done if you don’t bring civility back into politics, and that goes for both sides.”
