The date is set for the first U.S. Senate debate between Gov. Rick Scott and Democratic Senator Bill Nelson. On Oct. 16. CNN will host host the debate, thrusting the race onto the national stage, not that it hadn’t already been front and center among Americans.
While on his bus tour, Scott took a couple moments to call out Nelson for delaying his decision to accept debate requests.Glad you finally accepted. We accepted this debate in June. Will you also accept the @wjxt4 debate in Jacksonville? We're still waiting… https://t.co/l50XwG8KJ9

Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Scott also released a new video questioning his support for “mainstream” gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.
Bill Nelson says Gillum's positions are mainstream one week and that he disagrees with them the next week. He sure is one confused politician. pic.twitter.com/LbsDuPOLxh
