Top Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has piled on Republican gubernatorial nominee Ron DeSantis over his “monkey it up” remark, saying that the remark reflected “a hateful past.”
Wasserman Schultz is implying that the remark was direct racial slur made about Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum, who just so happens to be African-American.Democrats appear desperate to bring down DeSantis and President Trump, now that a far weaker gubernatorial candidate will face the Republican nominee to replace outgoing Gov. Rick Scott.
Gillum is as far left as they get. After all, he is Soros’ hand-picked choice to be governor of the biggest swing state in the nation.
But how quickly Democrats forget that they too have used the term ‘monkey.”Our choice in November could not be clearer. Floridians will elect a Governor who represents a hopeful future, not a hateful past. #BringItHome https://t.co/iYqTR9BJp9
