Senator Bill Nelson’s claims that there’s been foreign intervention in Florida’s voting systems has been disproven, but now an election supervisor is commenting on the claim that has left many people asking for Bill Nelson to give up any information he might have.
Tommy Hardee, the supervisor of elections in Madison County, says he was surprised at Senator Nelson’s claim. Not only that, but he was also surprised that Senator Nelson would attack the Department of Homeland Security, saying that they wouldn’t be able to know if there had been foreign meddling in Florida’s voting systems. In an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, Tommy Hardee explained that he’s “as frustrated as anybody. He should have reached out to the supervisors first and given us a head’s-up. He basically made a statement, and he’s gone. Why isn’t he backing us up on this?”
Governor Scott had also attacked Nelson on his claim, saying that the Senator “needs to come clean. He needs to say he received classified information … he was never entitled to.” Governor Scott also asked “If he does have classified information, why would he be releasing it through reporters? Why didn’t he come work with the state?”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Nelson has not commented on the matter, and he has not disclosed if he has any information on possible foreign meddling.
