Many pro-Trump Republicans do not like Senator Marco Rubio. In fact, many believe that he “sold out” the country, accused him of committing “treason,” and just outright hate him for opposing President Trump on many issues.
But is Rubio all that bad?
Rubio supports President Trump’s America First agenda, and defends the president whenever the opportunity presents itself, but his past comments and occasional disagreement with the president overshadows any and all support he has for POTUS’ policies.
Rubio has stated that he would serve as check and balance to all while in the Senate, which is fair, but Trump supporters don’t see it as fair when he criticizes the president.
Here is Rubio’s later defense of Trump. Rubio defends Trump of North Korea’s refusal to take step to denuclearize. The media and Democrats blame the president, but the reality is that it really isn’t Trump’s fault. How could it be?
The fact that #NorthKorea has not taken steps to denuclearize is not @Potus fault & unlike #IranDeal we never lifted sanctions in return for promises to act later. While I hope I am wrong, I have always been & remain doubtful #KJU will ever denuclearize https://t.co/KDBHy0v2se
