Donald Trump’s border policy has been criticized these last few days, and the backlash culminated in an executive order signed by the President ensuring that families were not separated at the border. However, people are still criticizing the move made by the President.
In response, former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine has just released an advertisement in English and Spanish sharing his thoughts on the President’s border policy. In the 30-second advertisement titled Humanity, Levine notes that “As a dad, I’m appalled by what’s happening to children on America’s southern border. We never thought we’d see this kind of inhumanity, or a president who wallows in it. Children and babies are being ripped from the arms of their mothers and left to cry on concrete floors.”
In a statement, Levine’s campaign advisor, Christian Ulvert, explained that “As a first-generation American, my family has lived through the horrors of being chased out of our native country of Nicaragua and know firsthand the trauma a family lives through when fleeing a country. Mayor Levine is forcefully speaking out against President Trump’s inhumane policies and reminding Floridians that we must take on these injustices by refusing to accept them.”
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
