After a bipartisan effort by members of Congress to influence the president to reunite illegal immigrant children with the parents along the U.S. southern border, President Trump has signed and Executive Order doing just that.
Remember, these kids and parents, who are saying they are seeking asylum, broke U.S. immigration law by entering illegally, and are subject to the existing pre-Trump asylum process. That process calls for detention until their cases can be heard. Senator Rubio has even called for those cases to be expedited. The million dollar question here is, where did 12,000 illegal immigrant children and their parents come from? All of a sudden they appear along the border? Of those 12,000, 10,000 are unaccompanied kids, so who brought them there? I am sure none of them grabbed compass and started negotiating their way to specific immigrant border crossing points along the border.
Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is quoting the American Academy of Pediatrics term to describe the immigration “separation policy” being employed by the Trump Administration, saying that the it is causing “irreparable harm” to the children.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The irreparable harm that has been cause was caused by their parents for dragging them along the dangerous road across the desert, where numerous illegal immigrants trying to cross over have been raped, murdered, and have died from exposure to the elements.
"Irreparable harm."
Those are the words the American Academy of Pediatrics used to describe the damage Trump's family separation policy is having on thousands of children.
This is about the difference between right and wrong.— Debbie Wasserman Schultz (@DWStweets) June 18, 2018
